Yes, but you must rinse it immediately. Chlorine in pools and salt in seawater are highly corrosive to latex. After every swim, you must rinse the garment thoroughly with fresh, clean water and wash it with a mild latex soap as soon as possible to prevent the material from becoming brittle or "rotting."
They are extremely damaging. Oil-based sunscreens and lotions act as solvents that permanently dissolve and weaken latex, causing it to become sticky and tear. Use only water-based sunscreens if necessary, and try to avoid any contact between the lotion and the garment's surface.
Be extremely gentle and use the pads of your fingers. Swimwear often uses thinner gauge latex ($0.25mm$ - $0.33mm$) for flexibility. Never use your nails to pull or adjust the edges. Use ample silicone dressing aid to ensure the suit glides on, and only use the flat pads of your fingers or palms to position the material.
Thorough cleaning and 100% drying. Because swimwear is worn in high-moisture environments, bacteria and mold can grow quickly. After washing with a specialized latex cleaner, ensure the suit is turned inside out and dried completely (100%) on both sides before storage to prevent hygiene issues and material degradation.
